Mira Monte Inn & Suites offers 19 accommodations across three buildings: the Victorian Inn, Mira Monte Suites, and Ashe Cottage. Rooms feature pillow-top king or queen beds, Franklin Stove fireplaces, and private balconies overlooking formal gardens. Suites include kitchenettes with 2-burner ranges, microwaves, and refrigerators. All rooms have air conditioning, flat-screen TVs, DVD players, WiFi, CD player/clock radios, and private bathrooms with whirlpool tubs or rainfall showers. The Wingwood Suite contains two bedrooms with one king bed and two twin beds.

Dining & Breakfast

From May through October, the inn serves plated hot breakfast in the historic dining room. Menu items include Belgian waffles with fruit, crab cake and asparagus benedict, Maine wild blueberry pancakes, and parmesan crusted haddock. November through April, rooms receive breakfast baskets with heat-and-eat items. Ashe Cottage and suites have in-room coffee makers. The property features a brick terrace with tables for outdoor dining overlooking the lawns.

The property sits on 1.5 acres three blocks from Bar Harbor village center. Formal gardens display elderberry, hawthorn trees, lilacs, and rhododendron. The inn provides maps for hiking trails including the 2-mile Sand Beach to Otter Point coastal walk. Bicycle rentals are available at Acadia Bike and Canoe, located nearby. Boat excursions include whale watching on the Lulu lobster boat, sailing on the Margaret Todd schooner, and sea kayaking tours. Acadia National Park offers 50 miles of carriage roads for biking and 100 miles of hiking trails. The Abbe Museum of Wabanaki culture is a 3-minute walk away.
